Trey Bell, LCSW, IIN Holistic Health Coach, and ACE Certified Personal Trainer:

Movement and activity has been a staple in my life since I can remember.  Growing up in small town Delaware, team sports like baseball and soccer were always a top priority, along with family and friends.  In fact, my devotion to sportsl led to a scholarship to play Division 1 baseball for Long Island University-Brooklyn Campus.  While developing more knowledge about the game of baseball and physical training component to support it, I also completed two degrees, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master's in Social Work.  Through these experiences, I began to realize the importance of the connection between the mind and body.

After college, I started traveling around the globe from Southeast Asia to Central and South America and all over the U.S including residences in both Northern Arizona and Alaska.  On a family vacation, I was introduced to rock climbing which provides me with a way to connect nature and movement.  Through these excursions, I came away with a better understanding of other cultures but most importantly, myself.  This has led me to recognize that listening to your body is one of the most important things you can do for it tells you all of the answers.

In 2011, I found myself back in Delaware working as an outpatient behavioral health therapist with a passion for fitness.  Then after an appearance on NBC's American Ninja Warrior, I decided to become a Certified Personal Trainer and group fitness instructor.  I became extremely passionate about the importance of nutrition in regards to my training and overall wellness.  I went from meat intensive diets, to becoming a vegan, and everything in between until I found foods that worked best for my body.  This gave me a desire to link fitness, nutrition, and mindset together to treat people holistically.  I believe that food, movement, and genuinely enjoying life through activities that nourish one's soul is the true recipe to balanced wellness.

I most recently received training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied a variety of dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods. With my knowledge, we co-create completely personalized actions based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources.

As a coach, I put the power back in YOUR hands.

Testimonials

I assumed I was the picture of health until Trey Bell challenged me to cut carbs and sugar for two weeks. 24 hours in is when I realized how toxic I was. Clean eating changed my physical appearance as well as my mental health and athletic performance, not to mention my skin, and sleep quality. You can become used to feeling a certain way and assume it’s normal, completely unaware of how much better you could be. Just because you look healthy doesn’t mean you are.

As a professional adventure athlete I need to be at the top of my game year-round. Whether I am running, climbing, or snowboarding, I need to train my body to be strong yet balanced with nutrition and rest. Trey Bell has helped me find and maintain that balance with training programs, nutritional advice, and life coaching. I am now stronger in the mountains and feel more energized than ever before. I would absolutely recommend Trey to anyone who wants to become their healthiest and strongest self.
